Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that is leaving a mark on the tiny screen. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. In Texas, she began a career as a physical therapist. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and shortly after made the move into Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor as well as independent commercials and films. Despite the small roles, she discovered that acting was her passion. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she scored her first role in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004 she was cast in her first series part in The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. Her character received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is presented to outstanding performers in the drama series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio his wife. In the role of Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory as well as being Italian from a family of Italian origin. The family she was raised in was strict and religious parents. Milano's career began at age seven, when her babysitter took her to an audition. Her audition was among over 1000 hopefuls. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano has appeared in ads on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
